ENGEL strengthens sales subsidiary in Turkey

The appointment of Abdulkadir Topuçar sees an acknowledged expert in injection moulding take over the management of ENGEL´s sales subsidiary in Turkey. He took up this position on 1 November 2010 with the aim of continuing to boost ENGEL´s market position in Turkey and underlining ENGEL´s role as a single-source injection moulding technology and automation service provider.

Prior to his appointment, Abdulkadir Topuçar managed a production facility operated by an international injection moulder in the telecommunications industry for many years. Reflecting his comprehensive experience in injection moulding production, Mr. Topuçar will be focusing in his new function in particular on the efficient use of ENGEL technologies in injection moulding facilities.

The ENGEL sales subsidiary in Istanbul was founded on 1 May 2008. The long-standing Turkish commercial agency EN-KO Makine Servis including all service engineers and sales staff was integrated with the new enterprise at the time. The fact that ENGEL now employs a staff of 13 reflects the substantial potential of the Turkish market. In addition to this, the sales subsidiary plays a key role in the region for neighbouring countries.

As is the case with all ENGEL subsidiaries throughout the world, the subsidiary in Turkey offers an extensive range of services. These include, for example, highly qualified machine support and optimisation by service technicians, comprehensive stocks of spare parts to ensure availability and fast delivery, and on-site training facilities.
