ENGEL appoints new managing director in Mexico
 Peter Auinger Peter Auinger has taken up the reins with the aim of positioning ENGEL as a system supplier in Mexico and of continuing to strengthen ENGEL´s technical consultancy services. Nationwide service coverage will be a major building block in ENGEL´s intensified drive towards market penetration. Peter Auinger has been involved in sales management in the plastics industry for many years and his career record shows experience of working the Latin American markets. Advert Alberto Meade, the previous managing director of ENGEL Mexico, is leaving the company for personal reasons. "We would like to thank Alberto Meade for the pioneering work that he has put in for ENGEL on this strategically extremely important market", says Peter Neumann, the CEO of the ENGEL Group. "Under his leadership ENGEL reinforced its position on the Mexican market." In October 2010, ENGEL inaugurated a new Sales and Service Centre in Queretaro, Central Mexico.
