Gneuss: New Mercury-Free Melt Pressure Transducers with High Precision Measurement

Melt Pressure transducers play a key role in the control of extrusion processes as in addition to being used as a control value for the extruder and melt pump drives, the melt pressure indicates process disturbances which can lead to production interruptions. The new Gneuss (www.gneuss.com) Melt Pressure Transducers (Photo) can actually provide more accurate performance than conventional sensors with mercury medium. The sensors are extremely rugged and are characterised by a long operating life.
