Textile materials for the design of new fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) parts with reduced weight and/or increased stability

An Austrian SME has developed industrial knitting for fibre reinforced materials which increase stability and reduce weight of FRP parts. Costs for clients are saved. The high flexibility of the process concerning fibres materials, densities and the high drapability of the knitted textiles facilitate the design of parts especially with complex geometry.
