Lanxess increases prices for hexanediol
|
Specialty chemicals company Lanxess is raising its prices for 1,6-hexanediol (HDO) globally with immediate effect. The increase amounts for 300 Euro per metric ton. The reason for the adjustment is the significant rise in energy costs over the past months. Advert HDO is an important precursor for high performance coatings, fibers, adhesives, polyurethanes, polycarbonate diols, and a reactive diluent for epoxy resins.
