Trevira: Head of Sales for the new Trevira appointed

Following the launch of the new Trevira GmbH at the start of 2010 under the leadership of Uwe Wöhner, the Head of Sales for the new Trevira has now been named.

On February 1 2010 Hartmann Huth (50, Photo) is returning to Trevira, assuming total responsibility for Marketing & Sales. Prior to leaving the company at the end of April 2008 he had been in charge of Marketing and Sales staple fibres.

“We are very pleased to have gained Herr Huth for this post“, says Uwe Wöhner. “He is just the right man for the job. He is very familiar with Trevira and our customers from his long years of experience in our sales organisation. He will be able to provide the necessary assistance to the team for the fresh start in the new company, and ensure that customer confidence in Trevira is given a boost“.

On the occasion of the Heimtextil fair held in Frankfurt in mid-January, Hartmann Huth was introduced to the sales team and customers as the new Head of Sales.

At the start of June 2009 Trevira went into administration following severe declines in turnover due to the financial crisis. On 1st January 2010 insolvency administrator Werner Schneider then transferred it into a new company, comprising sites in Germany and Poland with some 1400 employees.
