Bayer MaterialScience AG is raising the selling prices for the product groups diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and polyether (PET) worldwide by EUR 0.25/kg effective June 1, 2010. Raw material and energy costs for these product groups have increased considerably. To ensure continued reliability of supply and an efficient service for its customers, and to further develop the product range to meet future requirements, Bayer MaterialScience is compelled to pass on a proportion of these increased costs in the form of price rises.
