Biesterfeld Plastic extends distribution agreement for ExxonMobil Chemical Polymer Brands

Agreement extends to Portugal, Maghreb, the United Kingdom and Ireland Biesterfeld Plastic GmbH, a pan-European distributor of a range of ExxonMobil Chemical polymer brands, will now distribute Santoprene™ thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) and Vistamaxx™ propylene-based elastomers in Portugal and Morocco, and Exxtral™performance polyolefins in the United Kingdom and Ireland, announced the company. "Since the beginning of our relationship with ExxonMobil Chemical, we have been committed to gradually broadening our agreement across Europe," said Carsten Harms, general manager of Biesterfeld Plastic. "We are looking forward to extending our agreement for Santoprene TPVs and Vistamaxx propylene-based elastomers to Portugal and Morocco effective from 1 May 2010. We are also proud to extend the agreement for Exxtral polyolefins to the UK and Ireland with immediate effect, having established success in these important markets only two years ago."
