LANXESS: Price increase for Baypren products
|
The Technical Rubber Products (TRP) business unit of specialty chemicals group LANXESS will increase its prices for CR (chloroprene rubber) effective fourth quarter 2010. Dependent on regions, the price adjustment per metric ton comprises up to EUR 525 / USD 700 for CR. The continued high level of feedstock and energy prices is named as reason for this. Advert CR, which LANXESS offers under the name Baypren, can be used to produce e.g. cable sheathings, hoses, belts and air springs.
