Baerlocher announces price increases on its Baeropan range of PVC stabilisers

Baerlocher announced that effective from March 1st 2011, it will increase prices on its Baeropan range of products. These increases being necessary to recover significant increases in key raw materials. "Global demand for our feedstocks, from traded commodities, as well as fat and oil based derivatives, has driven up prices during the past year. This is set to continue during 2011. Therefore, despite all our best efforts to protect our customers from these effects, price increases are now unavoidable", states Andy Jones, Head of PVC Additives Europe/ Middle East/ Africa. Advert The increases of up to 12%, dependent upon raw material mix, will affect both Calcium and Lead based compounds produced at its European plants.
