Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is increasing its prices for its Perbunan and Krynac synthetic rubber ranges by up to EUR 250 per metric ton with effect from April 1, 2011. The reason for this price adjustment is the rise in raw material, transport and energy costs. The nitrile rubbers (NBR) Perbunan and Krynac have much higher oil resistance than conventional rubber grades, explains the company. They are therefore ideal for use in seals, conveyor belts and hoses. More information: lanxess.com |
