Styron: Price increases for polystyrene and copolymers in Europe

Styron Europe GmbH and its affiliate companies in Europe announced today price increases for all polystyrene (PS), copolymer and expandable polystyrene (EPS) grades. Effective immediately, or as existing contract terms allow, the March contract and spot prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:

  • STYRON™ general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS), STYRON™ and STYRON A-TECH™ high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by 50 Euro per metric ton
  • MAGNUM™ ABS resins and TYRIL™ SAN resins by 60 Euro per metric ton
  • SCONAPOR™ expandable polystyrene (EPS) by 60 Euro per metric ton
