ProTec Polymer Processing: Peter Theobald is new Managing Director

On April 1, 2013, Dipl.-Ing. Peter Theobald, 54, joined Christian Bennhold and Alfred Kimpel on the management team of ProTec Polymer Processing GmbH at the company´s headquarters in Bensheim, Germany.

With his extensive sales experience – particularly in the Asia region – Peter Theobald is ideally qualified for his new role at ProTec Polymer Processing. After completing his engineering degree at the Technische Hochschule – now the Technische Universität – in Darmstadt, he began his career at one of the world´s leading manufacturers of pumps and fittings based in the Rhineland Palatinate, for whom he traveled to Shanghai to work as a sales engineer in 1996. This posting was followed by several stints with well-known global engineering companies from the machine tools and plastics machinery sectors throughout Asia. Most recently, he held a senior management position in China for a manufacturer of extrusion equipment. Peter Theobald now brings the extensive experience he gained in establishing and developing sales in today´s rapidly expanding Asian markets to his new role at ProTec Polymer Processing.
