LANXESS to increase its prices for ABS and SAN
|
Effective October 1, 2005, LANXESS Deutschland GmbH (www.lanxess.de) is to increase its prices for Novodur®, Lustran® (ABS) and Lustran® (SAN) throughout Europe by EUR 0.15 per kilogram. The reasons for this step are the increasing cost of raw materials, the tight supply situation affecting base products and the rising costs of energy and transport. The brand names Lustran®/Novodur® ABS and SAN are known throughout the world and employed in a wide range of applications. The resins are primarily used for housings and covers requiring good toughness, strength, stiffness, dimensionally accuracy and chemical resistance, plus a good-to-very-good surface finish. |
