DuPont: announces price increase for all Vespel® parts
|
The European headquarters of DuPont Engineering Polymers (www.dupont.com) today announced an increase of 8% for all DuPont™ Vespel® engineered parts. Higher percentages may apply to certain specialty products. The increase will take effect in Europe, Middle East and Africa with all orders placed as of October 11th, 2005 and on all shipments as of November 1st, 2005. “We acknowledge that price increases are difficult for our customers. However, these are necessary to continue to reliably deliver the Vespel® value proposition under increasingly demanding market conditions, which include the recent unprecedented global energy impact” said Jeroen van Campen, Marketing Manager EMEA, Vespel®. Advert Vespel® parts are used in high-temperature, lowwear and low-friction components such as bushings, seal rings or thrust washers for automotive, aerospace, semiconductor manufacture and various other end-use industries.
