nova-Institut: Special event – “Wood- and cellulose-filled plastic granulates for injection moulding and extrusion”

Wood flour and cellulosic fibres act as filler or reinforcement in plastics and lead to increased stiffness and strength as well as lower shrinkage and warpage. Moreover, their use leads to shortened cycle times. All this helps the industry to reduce production costs and reduce the environmental footprint.

Nine leading experts from the U.S., Germany, China, Finland and Portugal will present their latest developments on WPC granulates. Most of the presented granulates are commercially available on the market and are used in several application fields such as furniture parts and consumer goods.

Experts from the plastic industry and their customers have the opportunity to book this special event to get a quick but comprehensive picture on the characteristics of bio-based granulates in the market and their various options for application through injection moulding and extrusion.
