Ashland: Price increases for epoxy vinyl ester resin, unsaturated polyester resin and gelcoat for EMEA
|
Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc., is increasing the prices of its Derakane epoxy vinyl ester resins, unsaturated polyester resins (UPRs) and gelcoats portfolio sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by 50 euros per ton. This increase will take effect March 1, 2014. The pricing action is primarily driven by the continued escalation in costs for key raw materials at Ashland’s manufacturing units.
