Wittmann Battenfeld: Further expansion of capacity for large machines
 A hall to house a machining center for platens will be connected to the existing assembly hall for large machines (building at the front, on the left). The project concerns an extension of the existing assembly hall, where a machining center for clamping plates for large machines will be installed. With this new machining center, it will be possible to manufacture the clamping plates for all large MacroPower machines with up to 1.600 t clamping force in-house, too. This will be a vital contribution to improving the production flow in line with assembly and to shortening lead times. Advert Building started in July of this year. Completion of the hall is planned for the end of the year. Commissioning of the new machining center is expected by the end of the 1st quarter of 2015.
