EUROMAP: New Recommendation EUROMAP 78 published
|
The Technical Commission of EUROMAP has published the new recommendation EUROMAP 78 "Electrical Interface between Injection Moulding Machines and External Safety Devices". It is the successor of EUROMAP 73 which is based on the usage of three limit/safety switches. Advert EUROMAP 78 facilitates the use of new technologies such as electronic door switches or transponders by using two-channel safety signals with specified Performance Levels in accordance with ISO 13849-1. With two subtypes external safety device with and without guard locking are covered.
