EMS-Grivory: Price increase for Grilamid as of January 1st, 2018

EMS- Grivory will increase prices of its High Performance Polymers Grilamid L PA12 worldwide between 0.70 Euro/kg and 1.80 Euro/kg as of January 1st, 2018. Prices for other long chain Polyamide Types such as Grilamid 2S PA610 and 2D PA612 will rise from 0.40 to 0.80 Euro/kg. The increase is a consequence of the general shortage of raw material for Polyamide 12, steady demand growth for Specialty Polyamides driven by a positive economic trend and the undiminished realization of new applications in various market segments, says the company. Advert EMS therefore constantly strives to further raise its production capacity for Specialty Polyamides. This implies a minimum return, both short and long term, to enable important future investments.
