Specialty chemical company Lanxess is raising its prices for iron oxide and chrome oxide pigments worldwide with immediate effect. Prices for iron oxide pigments will increase by 110 Euro per metric ton and for chrome oxide pigments by 220 Euro per metric ton or its equivalent in local currency. The Lanxess Inorganic Pigments business unit sees itself as the world's largest manufacturer of synthetic iron oxides and as a leading producer of inorganic chrome oxides.
