Arkema: Further capacity expansion for PVDF in China
|
Arkema has announced a further increase in capacity for the fluoropolymer "Kynar" (PVDF) at its Changshu plant in China. Accordingly, the fluoropolymer production capacities there are to be expanded by 35 percent by 2022. Advert The increase in capacity is scheduled to come on stream before the end of 2022. Arkema names the further strong demand in the lithium ion battery business as well as significant opportunities in the water filtration, construction coatings, and semiconductor industries.
The Changshu plant was built in 2011 and has been expanded several times since, most recently in December 2020. More information: www.arkema.com |
