Arburg: New Managing Director for subsidiary in Poland

As of 1 January 2021, the Arburg subsidiary in Poland has a new Managing Director in the person of Konrad Szymczak. He succeeds Dr Slawomir Sniady, who successfully established and expanded Arburg Polska Sp. z o o. and has now retired after 25 years. Poland is one of the most important and strongest markets in Europe for Arburg and has been served by its own subsidiary in Warsaw since 1992.

Konrad Szymczak holds both technical and commercial academic qualifications, which make him ideally suited for his leadership role in Poland. He holds a Master of Science with Engineer's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering from Lodz University of Technology and an Executive MBA from Oxford Brooks University. Before taking up his position at Arburg, he was Managing Director of the Polish subsidiary of a German family-owned company.
