Trinseo: Price Increase for Polystyrene

Trinseo, a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics and latex binders, and its affiliate companies in Europe announced today a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), ABS and SAN grades. Effective June 1, 2022, or as existing contract terms allow, the contract and spot prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:

  • "Styron" general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by +25 Euro per metric ton
  • "Styron" and "Styron A-Tech", "Styron C-Tech" and "Styron X-Tech" high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by +25 Euro per metric ton
