A. Schulman: Price adjustments announced by the masterbatch business unit

Despite changes in masterbatch pricing due to raw material cost increases, product margins have continued to erode throughout 2007. Efforts to improve productivity and equipment utilisation have not fully overcome the impact of increases in other key cost elements like transport and energy together with our ongoing capital investment programmes. Advert As a consequence, a general price adjustment will be made across the range of A. Schulman’s (www.aschulman.com, www.polybatch.net) POLYBATCH ® masterbatches from the 1st of December 2007. They believe that these changes will help to continue to provide the quality and service demanded by the extensive customer base.
