Bericap: Closure manufacturer invests in new plant in China
|
Bericap, a global manufacturer of plastic and aluminium closures, is investing in a new plant in Kunshan, China. Bericap intends to modernise the site and increase production capacity by 50 percent in order to meet customer requirements even more efficiently. Bericap's customers in China include manufacturers of cooking oil, soya sauce and vinegar as well as the beverage and automotive industries. The contract was recently signed with representatives of the Kunshan Development Zone, laying the foundation stone for the construction of a new building in Kunshan, which is due to start this year. Bericap plans to start production at the new plant in 2027. Advert The Kunshan site near Shanghai is of strategic importance to Bericap, especially as the Kunshan Development Zone is set to create an integrated cluster of companies specialising in the development, production, sale and presentation of high-quality food products by attracting top 500 companies from all over the world.
