Trinseo: Price Increase for Polystyrene and Copolymers in Europe

Trinseo, a specialty material solutions provider, and its affiliate companies in Europe, recently announced a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), ABS and SAN grades. Effective August 1, 2024, or as existing contract terms allow, the prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:

  • "Styron" and "Styron X-Tech" general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by +135 Euro per metric ton
  • "Styron" and "Styron A-Tech", "Styron C-Tech" and "Styron X-Tech" high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by +135 Euro per metric ton
  • "Magnum" ABS resins by +100 Euro per metric ton
  • "Tyril" SAN resins by +120 Euro per metric ton
