Mauser Packaging Solutions: Acquisition of a South African manufacturer of plastic drums

Mauser Packaging Solutions, a global manufacturer of industrial packaging and provider of solutions and services for the entire life cycle of packaging, has acquired a company in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, for the manufacture, sale and supply of plastic drums, including large rigid plastic drums. According to the company, the transaction was completed on 1 August 2024. With this acquisition, Mauser Packaging Solutions expands its existing production capacity and presence in South Africa and can offer full-service solutions and packaging excellence from five different production and reconditioning facilities. Advert The new facility produces UN-certified solid and open-bottom plastic drums suitable for use in the petrochemical, lubricant, ethanol, chemical, coating, mining and food industries. The plant is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
