Huhtamaki: Axel Glade to be new President "Flexible Packaging"
|
Axel Glade (55) has been appointed President Flexible Packaging and member of the global leadership team of Huhtamaki. He will join the company no later than 1 January 2026. He will report to CEO Charles Héaulmé and be based in Espoo, Finland. Axel Glade joins us from Constantia Flexibles, a flexible packaging company based in Vienna, Austria, where he served as Executive Vice President of the Films Division and a member of the Executive Committee. Since joining Constantia in 2011, he has held various senior leadership positions, including SVP Consumer and CEO at Constantia Pirk. Prior to joining Constantia, Axel Glade held various management positions in other packaging companies, including Sealed Air and Bischof + Klein. Advert Hans-Peter Edelbluth (63), currently Vice President MEA, Flexible Packaging, will take over as Head of the Flexible Packaging segment on an interim basis from 1 February 2025 until Axel Glade joins the company.
