Omya: Acquisition of Distrupol completed - New global polymer distribution business

Omya, a global producer of essential minerals and a worldwide distributor of specialty materials, has completed the previously announced acquisition of Distrupol, a distribution partner in the UK, Ireland and the Nordic countries that has recently expanded into continental Europe. Advert Distrupol will become part of Omya Performance Polymer Distribution, a new company based in Switzerland that combines Omya's existing global footprint in polymer distribution with strategic acquisitions to serve a rapidly developing market.
