Starlinger: New woven bag lines for Indian packaging manufacturer Lakhdatar

Lakhdatar International Pvt. Ltd. is investing in Starlinger machines for the production of woven plastic packaging. According to the machine manufacturer, the order includes a new-generation tape extrusion line with winder and modern circular looms for the production of high-quality OPP-laminated woven bags made of polypropylene. Lakhdatar already has a Starlinger coating line with OPP lamination in operation. The new machines are scheduled for delivery in mid-2025.

Lakhdatar International is headquartered 30 kilometres outside New Delhi in the northern Indian high-tech centre of Gurugram and operates two plants in Karnal in the state of Haryana. The company produces plastic bags and sacks with a filling volume of 250 grams to 50 kilograms. Lakhdatar International offers packaging with a wide range of customisation options, such as various zip and slider options, handles, microperforation and 3D printing. The family-owned company supplies packaging for the food and beverage sector, the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, as well as for agriculture and the domestic and livestock sectors.
