Albis: Expansion into Latin America – Majority stake in Tecnomatiz in Brazil

With the acquisition of a majority stake in Brazilian distributor Tecnomatiz Resinas Ltda., Albis intends to continue its growth course and strengthen its international market presence. The entry into the Brazilian market marks another important step in the company's global expansion. "With Tecnomatiz, we are creating the best conditions for gaining a long-term foothold in the Latin American market", explains Albis CEO Horst Klink. Advert Tecnomatiz was founded in 1973 and is now one of the leading distributors of engineering plastics in Brazil. The company has a broad network, long-standing customer relationships and close partnerships with international petrochemical companies. Under the leadership of Managing Director Sergio Salinas, Tecnomatiz will continue to operate independently in the market.
