The Austrian Hirsch Servo Group is continuing its expansion in Southeast Europe and will acquire 60 percent of Terrasit Insulation d.o.o., based in Gračanica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, effective January 1, 2026. The transaction is being carried out through Hirsch Porozell GmbH. Founded in 2000, Terrasit produces insulation and packaging solutions made from expanded polystyrene (EPS) and expanded polypropylene (EPP). The company manufactures, among other things, thermal insulation boards, underfloor heating systems, as well as technical molded parts and customized packaging. Around 40 employees currently work at the site. The previous owner, Osman Tukić, will remain Managing Director and will retain 40 percent of the company’s shares. Hirsch board member Wolfgang Landler highlights, in particular, how Terrasit complements the production network and strengthens its regional market presence. The company is well positioned in the areas of insulation materials, technical molded parts, and packaging. Tukić emphasizes the opportunity to tap into additional markets and expand technological capabilities under the new ownership structure. With the stake in Terrasit, the Hirsch Servo Group's production network will include a total of 35 sites in eleven European countries with around 1,800 employees from 2026 onward.
