The Compound Company: Acquisition by Industrie Polieco

The Compound Company B.V., headquartered in Enschede, Netherlands, has reached an agreement for its complete acquisition by Industrie Polieco – M.P.B. S.p.A. The Italian manufacturer of piping systems and resins for coating and packaging, based in Brescia, intends to finalize the transaction by the end of December 2025, subject to the usual approvals and notification procedures. This also includes consultation with the works council in accordance with Dutch law.

The Compound Company operates production facilities in the Netherlands and Germany and specializes in high-performance polymer compounds and chemically functionalized polymers for applications including packaging, the automotive industry, medical technology, the solar sector, and construction. The "Yparex" brand portfolio includes impact modifiers, compatibilizers, adhesion promoters, and adhesive resins for co-extruded products. Furthermore, the company offers toll compounding as well as heat-activated adhesive films and POE encapsulation films.

Industrie Polieco – M.P.B. sees the combination of its own compounding activities with the technologies and products of The Compound Company as a foundation for further international growth. The Dutch manufacturer is intended to continue its existing strategy and maintain its location in Enschede.
