Trinseo: Price Increase for Polystyrene, ABS and SAN in Europe

Trinseo, a specialty material solutions provider, and its affiliate companies in Europe recently announced a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), ABS, and SAN grades. Effective February 1, 2026, or depending on existing contract terms, the prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:

  • "Styron" and "Styron X-Tech" general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by 130 Euro per metric ton
  • "Styron" and "Styron A-Tech", "Styron C-Tech" and "Styron X-Tech" high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by 130 Euro per metric ton
  • "Magnum" ABS resins by 90 Euro per metric ton
  • "Tyril" SAN resins by 90 Euro per metric ton
