Biesterfeld: Joe Read Appointed Managing Director in the UK and Ireland
|
Joe Read will assume the role of Managing Director of Biesterfeld in the United Kingdom and Ireland effective March 1, 2026. He succeeds Guy Payne, who is leaving the company after 20 years in senior leadership positions and will continue to support the business as a long-term advisor. Read brings many years of experience in the UK and European engineering plastics industry. He has held senior roles in sales, commercial management, and strategic marketing, including positions at DuPont, Delrin, and EMS-Chemie. In addition, he has extensive expertise in the composites industry. In this market segment, he co-managed a distribution company together with his father for several years.
