Trinseo: Price Increase for Polystyrene, ABS, and SAN in Europe

Trinseo, a specialty material solutions provider, and its affiliate companies in Europe recently announced a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), ABS, and SAN grades. Effective March 1, 2026, or depending on existing contract terms, the prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:

  • "Styron" and "Styron X-Tech" general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by 180 Euro per metric ton
  • "Styron" and "Styron A-Tech", "Styron C-Tech" and "Styron X-Tech" high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by 180 Euro per metric ton
  • "Magnum" ABS resins by 140 Euro per metric ton
  • "Tyril" SAN resins by 140 Euro per metric ton
