BASF: Global price increases for plastic additives

The chemical company BASF is raising prices worldwide for various additives used in plastic applications. The increase affects products in the categories of antioxidants, process stabilizers and light stabilizers. Depending on the product and region, the price increase may amount to up to 20 percent. According to the company, the adjustment is due to significantly rising costs along the value chain.
