Fuji Seal: Marieke Sauer-Ploegmakers takes over management of Fuji Seal Europe

Fuji Seal Europe has appointed Marieke Sauer-Ploegmakers as Managing Director of Fuji Seal Europe. She succeeds Yoichi Okazaki, who, as Global Chief Operating Officer, will in future focus more strongly on global strategy and the long-term growth priorities of the Fuji Seal Group.

In her new role, Sauer-Ploegmakers will be responsible for the company’s European business. Her duties include regional strategy, business development, and the operational management of the European organization. She will assume the role of Managing Director in addition to her existing positions as Global Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Officer of the Group.

Sauer-Ploegmakers has been with Fuji Seal for more than twelve years and has held various leadership positions in HR and business during that time. In her previous role, she was involved, among other things, in transformation projects as well as in building and further developing international teams.
