Tosaf: New masterbatch site in Poland for Eastern European business

Tosaf is expanding its manufacturing presence in Europe with a new site in Olkusz, Poland. The facility is scheduled to start operations in the second quarter of 2026 and will support supply to Poland, Ukraine, and other Eastern European markets.

The new site is located around 40 kilometers from Kraków and 50 kilometers from Katowice. According to the company, this location will enable efficient distribution across the region. The production facility covers 5,500 square meters and is initially designed for an annual capacity of 3,000 tonnes.

The site is intended to produce masterbatches for a wide range of polymers and applications. Production will be complemented by a laboratory designed for color matching, application-specific product development, and quality assurance in line with the company’s global standards.

By establishing local production capacity, Tosaf aims to shorten lead times, increase flexibility in customer supply, and provide technical support closer to the respective markets.

According to Iryna Maydych, Managing Director of Tosaf Polska Color Sp. z o.o., the investment is intended to strengthen operational proximity to customers and enable faster responses to day-to-day requirements. At the same time, the site is expected to combine local manufacturing with the company’s international development and application expertise.

In addition, the facility is intended to serve as a regional hub for the development and further advancement of masterbatch solutions. This is expected to enable Tosaf to respond more quickly to market requirements in Eastern Europe and support customers in a more targeted, needs-based manner.
