Wacker: Price increase for resins, dispersions and dispersible polymer powders
|
Wacker will raise prices for resins, dispersions and dispersible polymer powders by up to 15 percent as of June 1, 2026. The adjustment applies to products from Europe and the United States and will take effect where existing customer contracts allow. The company cites higher raw material and logistics costs as the reason. In particular, disruptions in raw material markets resulting from the Middle East conflict have led to higher costs for energy, raw materials and transport. Wacker’s polymer business has been particularly affected. Advert The products concerned belong to the Polymers business division. They are used, among other applications, in construction chemicals, paints and coatings, adhesives, sealants, carpet applications, nonwovens, as well as fiber-reinforced composites and polymer materials.
