ifo: German Export Expectations Fall in May
 Advert Expectations in the automotive industry have taken a hit. After four very optimistic months, exports are now expected to decline. International sales are also likely to fall in the metal industry. Energy-intensive industries in general are coming under pressure on global markets and anticipate declining sales. By contrast, the electrical industry remains moderately optimistic in its export outlook, albeit less so than in the previous month. Furniture manufacturers, too, expect to see an upturn in exports.
