The Haidlmair Group is expanding its international manufacturing footprint with the acquisition of Slovak company TFM Slovakia. Through the acquisition, the mold maker is increasing its CNC machining capacity and aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the group. According to the company, TFM Slovakia will continue to operate as an independent contract CNC machining provider, serving its existing customers without interruption. At the same time, the company will increasingly provide manufacturing services for the Haidlmair Group, thereby expanding value creation within the group. According to Haidlmair, the acquisition was driven primarily by TFM Slovakia's competitive cost structure, the technical expertise of its workforce, and its modern machinery. The production facility is predominantly equipped with machining centers from Hermle, complementing the group's existing manufacturing capacities. As part of the integration, TFM Slovakia's machine fleet will be expanded with an additional highly automated Hermle machining center. With the acquisition, the Haidlmair Group is continuing to expand its international manufacturing capabilities. The objective is to increase production capacity, enhance flexibility across the group, and further improve the efficiency of its manufacturing processes. Based in Sučany, TFM Slovakia was established in 2009 as a subsidiary of an Austrian toolmaking company. Following its spin-off in 2024, the company continued operations as an independent family-owned business. Its core expertise lies in high-precision CNC machining and component manufacturing. TFM Slovakia currently employs 30 people. More information: www.haidlmair.at, www.tfm-slovakia.sk |
