swissplast group: Full acquisition of Crisco Formtechnik AG completed

The swissplast group has completed the full acquisition of Crisco Formtechnik AG, thereby finalizing the last outstanding corporate legal step related to the acquisition of the key assets and business operations of the insolvent Durotherm Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH.

Following the earlier takeover of Durotherm's operations in Germany, the swissplast group has now also acquired the remaining 50 percent stake in Crisco Formtechnik AG from Sandy Trachsel, becoming the sole owner of the Swiss company.

Last year, Crisco Formtechnik AG's production had already been relocated to the group's German sites as part of a strategic realignment. With the completion of the transaction, the ownership structure has now been simplified and the remaining activities fully integrated into the swissplast group.

The acquisition of the remaining shares also concludes all outstanding corporate legal matters related to the Durotherm transaction. The group will now focus on integrating its Haiterbach and Lindlar sites and further developing the acquired customer relationships.

For Crisco Formtechnik AG's customers, the full integration provides direct access to the swissplast group's manufacturing network, offering expanded production capacities, additional technical expertise, and a stable long-term corporate structure.
