Biesterfeld: Distribution Partnership with Syensqo Expanded to the UK and Ireland

The Biesterfeld Group and Syensqo have expanded their strategic distribution partnership for composite and tooling materials to the United Kingdom and Ireland. Effective immediately, Biesterfeld will distribute Syensqo's Performance Products portfolio in both markets, becoming the company's preferred distribution partner across Europe.

Biesterfeld and Syensqo have been working together in the composites and tooling segment since 2021. Their collaboration covers applications in the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries. Biesterfeld supports customers through a Europe-wide sales network, technical consulting, and logistics solutions across the entire value chain.

Syensqo develops high-performance materials for demanding aerospace applications. Its portfolio includes composite materials for aircraft structures, helicopters, propulsion systems, space applications, and advanced air mobility solutions. The product range includes primers, adhesive films, foaming adhesives, paste adhesives, thermoset and thermoplastic prepregs, resins, surfacing films, core splice foams, potting compounds, as well as silicone, epoxy, phenolic, cyanate ester, BMI, and polyimide systems.

All aerospace products comply with the specifications of the respective aircraft original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Supply is provided through Biesterfeld's EN9120-certified European supply chain. In addition, warehouse capacity is being established in the UK while local certification efforts continue.

By expanding the distribution partnership, Biesterfeld is strengthening its high-performance composites portfolio and further increasing its presence in the UK and Irish markets. The collaboration is intended to provide customers in the aerospace, space, defense, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and automotive sectors with improved access to materials and technical support.
