AMI has released the conference program for the Compounding & Recycling Expo, which will take place on September 23–24, 2026, at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds in Germany. Alongside the trade exhibition, two free-to-attend conference theaters will host presentations and panel discussions focusing on plastics recycling and compounding. The two-day program features keynote speeches, technical presentations, case studies, and panel discussions. Key topics include current regulatory developments such as the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), advances in mechanical and chemical recycling, material innovations, and the use of recycled materials in demanding plastics applications. Speakers include representatives from numerous companies and organizations, including Constantia, Coveris, Delta Kunststoffe, Holland Colours, Ineos, Lifocolor Farben, Maag, Netzsch, Recycling Europe, the Food Contact Centre, 3M, Invista, and Aimplas. The agenda includes presentations on European recycled-content targets for plastics, the safety and sustainability of food packaging, new additive technologies for polymer processing, post-consumer recycling of polyamide 6.6, and key performance factors in compounding. The conference program is complemented by panel discussions on the future of the rPET market, the economics of plastics recycling, the impact of regulatory requirements, and developments in the markets for masterbatches, PVC compounds, and bioplastics. The Compounding & Recycling Expo will be held alongside several other AMI plastics industry exhibitions. Attendance at the conference is free of charge upon prior registration.
