Oni Group: New solutions for cooling, temperature control and water treatment

The Oni Group will present new and enhanced systems for building services, process technology and water treatment for plastics processing at Fakuma 2026. The focus will be on solutions designed to reduce energy and water consumption, stabilize production processes and lower operating costs.

The exhibits will include variable-speed pumps, the Oni-PowerSave energy-saving system, the Oni-AquaClean fine filtration system and EtaControl ASH for optimizing barrel heating. In addition, the company provides planning, installation, commissioning, maintenance and 24/7 service from a single source. For emergencies, a rental fleet of more than 130 chillers with capacities ranging from 10 to 1,000 kW is available.

One new development is the Oni-AquaHeRO reverse osmosis system for treating make-up water. It is designed to reduce bacteria, heavy metals and salts by up to 99 percent. According to the manufacturer, adaptive control reduces water consumption by up to 45 percent compared with conventional systems. The control system can be connected to cooling systems and monitored remotely.

For process temperature control, Oni will introduce new operating and assistance functions for multi-circuit temperature control systems, water distributors and temperature control units. The company will also showcase three maintenance-free flow measurement technologies for media temperatures of up to 160 degrees Celsius.

At the trade fair, the solutions will be demonstrated on two running injection molding applications. The aim is to achieve energy-efficient, stable and cost-effective temperature control and water distribution.
