DPEC: New Plastics Recycling Plant Commissioned in Vietnam

Dowon Phu Thai Environmental Joint Stock Company (DPEC) commissioned its new plastics recycling plant at the Dong Van I Industrial Park in Vietnam’s Ninh Binh Province at the end of July 2026. The joint venture between Phu Thai, PTC Holdings and the South Korean partners Dowon and Dux Industry produces high-quality recycled plastics and composite materials. Advert Investment in the first expansion phase amounts to USD 6.2 million, with a planned production capacity of 20,000 tonnes per year. A second expansion phase is scheduled to begin in 2027, increasing total capacity to more than 50,000 tonnes per year. Total investment is expected to reach USD 13 million. The products will be marketed both in Vietnam and for export.
