At Fakuma 2026, Meraxis will unveil its expanded portfolio for the first time. Since the beginning of the year, the plastics distributor has been operating its own compounding facility in Velen as well as accredited testing laboratories in Rehau. The company is thus extending its offering beyond material sourcing to include formulation development, compounding and comprehensive material testing. The Velen facility has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tonnes. Its product range includes PP and flexible PVC compounds, as well as TPE, ABS, SAN, ASA, PA, PS, PC, PMMA, PE and PP/PA blends. PIR and PCR recyclates can also be incorporated, with recycled content of up to 100 percent of the polymer share, depending on the application. Meraxis’ laboratory network offers more than 500 testing procedures, including 64 accredited methods in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. Services range from chemical analysis and mechanical testing to weathering, climate and surface testing. Digital solutions round off the portfolio. Together with Polymerize, Meraxis will showcase an AI-powered materials informatics platform designed to analyse experimental and production data. In addition, the company’s customer portal provides centralised access to order and delivery information, CO₂ footprint reports, and track-and-trace functions.
