Frimo: New Solutions for Plastics Processing and Automation

At Fakuma 2026, Frimo Innovative Technologies will showcase a range of new developments for plastics processing. The company’s exhibition will focus on solutions for premium surfaces and functional integration, PUR processing, composite applications, and flexible trimming technologies. Frimo will also present its new strategic collaboration with Chango Global Operations.

In the field of high-quality surfaces and functional integration, Frimo will demonstrate automated solutions for thermoforming, laminating, and edge folding. A seat-back cover will be used to illustrate the technologies in practice. The processes can also be used to equip NFPP components with decorative design surfaces.

For PUR processing, Frimo will unveil new system technology designed for applications in sectors including the furniture and construction industries. Additional exhibits will highlight lightweight solutions based on recycled polyurethane.

RTM tooling technology will be another key focus of the company’s Fakuma presence. Frimo will present applications for complex aircraft structural components as well as tooling and production systems for processing composite materials. The portfolio on display will be rounded off by flexible trimming solutions, including ultrasonic cutting systems for rigid IP materials, leather, textiles, and paper honeycomb, along with technologies for deburring and milling.

Frimo will also provide details of its new strategic cooperation with Chango Global Operations in plastics joining technology and automation. The partnership broadens Frimo’s portfolio to include ultrasonic and laser welding, cutting technologies, friction welding, and flexible robotic production systems.
